Welcome to West Rapids Elementary!

We’re thrilled to welcome you and your family to West Rapids Elementary! It is both a privilege and a responsibility to work with the most important people in your lives—your children. We are committed to creating a school experience that is engaging, supportive, and full of meaningful learning for every student.

Our administrative team brings a wealth of experience to West Rapids. Mr. Martinson, who previously served as the Interim Superintendent, was also the Principal at Murphy Elementary and, earlier in his career, at Cohasset Elementary. Mr. Clayton Lindner joins us from Southwest Elementary, where he served as Principal, and he has also led Northland Community School.

West Rapids Elementary first opened its doors in 2020 as a K–5 school. Beginning with the 2024–2025 school year, we are proud to serve our youngest learners as a K–2 building. While our grade levels have shifted, our commitment remains the same. We continue to provide a safe, welcoming, and positive environment where every student can thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally.
